Formula One boss Bernie Ecclestone appears to have turned a traumatic mugging to his ad-vantage.
Bernie Ecclestone was back at work 48 hours after the attack.
The 80-year-old - worth an estimated £2bn - was attacked last month by four men outside his Central London office.
Mr Eccclestone was left battered and bruised by the thieves, who took his personalised Hublot watch,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], worth around £11,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych],000.
But even before he had even had his stitches removed,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], he was in touch with the Swiss watchmaker to suggest a new advertising campaign - with himself in the starring role.
The striking picture features Mr Ecclestone’s black and blue face,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], above the strapline "See what people will do for a Hublot".
Mr Ecclestone's was attacked outside his London office last month.
Mr Ecclestone told the Daily Mail: "I rang them up and suggested this was a chance to do something different.
"I can understand people wanting to rob me when they are poor and they want some things for the kids with Christmas coming along, but what they did was unnecessary."
The poster also emphasises that "Hublot condemns all forms of violence and racism."
During the attack, jewellery totalling £200,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych],000 was stolen from Mr Ecclestone and his partner Fabiana Flosi.
Mr Ecclestone was back at work less than 48 hours later.
