Aloe polysaccharide on acute liver injury in mice


Abstract Objective Aloe polysaccharides (AP) on acute liver injury in rats and its mechanism. Methods Kunming mice, 1  79,3  58,7  17mg / (kg · bw) 3 doses were administered dose of Aloe polysaccharides, carbon tetrachloride (CCl4) caused by acute liver injury, measured serum alanine aminotransferase (ALT), aspartate aminotransferase (AST), liver superoxide dismutase (SOD) activity and malondialdehyde (MDA) content. Results 3 doses of Aloe polysaccharides can significantly reduce serum ALT and AST activity and increased liver SOD activity,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], decreased MDA content in the liver. Conclusion of Aloe polysaccharide by the carbon tetrachloride on (CCl4) liver damage caused by the acute protective effects in mice and its mechanism and improving the antioxidant capacity.

Aloe polysaccharide prompted by increasing antioxidant enzyme activity of free radicals and inhibit lipid peroxidation and liver cell membrane structure and stability, achieve CCl4 induced acute liver injury in rats.
